Adviser: Mr. Roberts See Mr. Roberts’ Visual Art & Design Class website
The Art Club is a club that allows students to focus on creating their own artwork in a supportive and creative environment. This also includes the freedom to explore different art materials that are provided in the art classroom here at Wilmington Middle School. Our primary goal this year in our Art Club is to give students a chance to work beside other students interested in art and be provided feedback from their peers and teachers. In the art club we also may be involved in working on community school projects and art competitions.
The Art Club does not require you to attend all meetings, but would encourage members to come create when time is given. Members are required to bring their positive attitude and to abide by all of the art classroom rules and Wilmington Middle school rules. Failure to respect and follow these rules might result in termination from the Art Club.
Art Club will be held most Mondays after school in room 347.
Due to space and materials Art Club is limited to 24 members; however as spots open we will have a waiting list for interested students. If you are interested in adding your name to the waiting list, please see Mr. Roberts in room 347.
Some members will be selected to work on murals throughout the building. This is a special role for selected students.
