Welcome to the WPS C.A.R.E.S. Summer Program at the North Intermediate School.
Thank you for your interest in our summer program. This summer we will operate for 32 days from Monday 6/26/17 through Thursday 8/10/17. You get to pick the days you want, but please note THAT THERE IS A MINIMUM REQUIREMENT OF 10 DAYS IN ORDER TO ENROLL FOR SUMMER. Your C.A.R.E.S. account must be in good standing to enroll in vacation programs. See the grade level calendar for the grade your child will be entering for the 17-18 school year for more details.
REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT INFO: Registration for SUMMER 2017 will be available on or about Monday, March 20th. Completed registration forms, permission slips, registration fee and tuition must be received by this office (320 Salem St.) no later than Tuesday April 12, 2017.
Children are placed into 5 separate grade level groups: 1st grade, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, 4th grade , and Combined 5th & 6th grades. Fieldtrips and Activities are also by grade level, although most field trips will combine 2 grades at a time.
Registration fee is $30.00. Tuition for this program is $43.00 per day for the first child, with a 20% tuition discount for your younger children. The discount does not apply to field trips or registration fees. Our day starts at 7:00 am and ends at 5:45 pm. (Please note that the closing time will be strictly enforced. There will be a late fee of $15.00 assessed beginning at 5:46 pm. There will be additional fees of $1.00 per minute beginning 5:56 pm as well.) The fees for those of you who choose to take advantage of our optional field trips and special programs are outlined on the attached forms. Please note that space may be limited for extra programs and field trips. Enrollment forms received after the deadline will be date stamped and will be added to the waitlist.
This year swimming will be held at the North Andover/Andover YMCA due to construction at the Boys & Girls Club in Woburn.
We will be swimming on Thursdays from June 29 to August 3.
Please choose carefully when selecting your days. There will be NO REFUNDS/CREDITS OR SWITCHING DAYS after April 12th. Likewise, we cannot guarantee any additions after April 12th. That being said, if space is available, and we can accommodate any additional days after the deadline, the tuition will be $53.00 per day.
