Online Registration
Registration for Wilmington students happens through our Online Registration system. If you have questions about registering your student, please see our Schools page for contact information.

- Registration for students who will be in Pre-K and Kindergarten for 2026-2027 school year is now open.
- Registration for students who will be grades 1 and above in 2026-2027 will be able to register beginning in June.
Preschool Program Waitlist Notice – 2026–2027 School Year
Please note that the preschool programs at Wildwood and Boutwell are currently full for the 2026–2027 school year. If you submit a registration for your child, they will be placed on a waitlist. We will contact you directly if a spot becomes available. Thank you for your interest.
Public Notice - Developmental Screening

Early Childhood Developmental Screening
May 8, 2026
The Wilmington Public School will offer Early Childhood developmental screenings for any student entering our preschool program or any child residing in Wilmington that is not currently registered or enrolled in our Integrated Preschool programs. This developmental screener is intended for any three to four year olds.
The screening is free of charge to parents/guardians who have concerns for their child in the areas of speech & language, cognition, fine motor, or gross motor skills. Early Childhood screenings are provided to ensure that, if necessary, children receive appropriate services before the start of Kindergarten.

Proof of Residency and a copy of your child’s birth certificate are required at the time of the screening if your child is not currently enrolled or registered for our Integrated Preschool program.

Location: Screening will be held at your child’s home school.

Families will be notified on April 8th if your child receives a spot.
For those who are unable to complete the registration online, please contact your
child’s home school. An appointment will be made to obtain the 2026-2027
registration packet, required documents, and provide assistance if required.
