In September of 2021, the School Committee approved the use of funds for the District to hire a consultant to conduct an equity audit of the Wilmington Public Schools. Such an audit is in support of our areas of priority within Strategic Objective 3 - Culture of Inclusion in our current strategic plan.
In consultation with the members of the School Committee’s Equity Subcommittee, we selected the consultant firm Commonwealth Consulting Agency to complete the audit. Commonwealth Consulting Agency began its work in May of 2022 and finalized the report July 2022.
