The PAC is a fun, relaxed and comfortable atmosphere in which we will discuss important and current school events, issues, programs and fundraisers. All funds raised help to support after school programs, student enrichment, parent workshops, and staff appreciation events, as well as various other school needs.
Box Tops for Education
Box Tops for EducationTM is an ongoing fundraiser. You can make money for your school simply by clipping the coupons off of many household products and sending them in to your student’s homeroom teacher. Each coupon is worth $.10. They will be tallied and submitted for cash. Here are some optional tips that will make the submission process easier:
- You can bundle your Box Tops in a sealable baggie or envelope (groups of 50 if possible)
- Or you an tape or glue the Box Tops on a collection sheet (available online)
A complete list of products that have Box Tops is available online at www.boxtops4education.com. You can also become an online member and receive coupons, free samples and bonus Box Top offers. If you have any questions or need help, please feel free to contact Lynne Parr at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thanks for all your help!
Direct Donation Drive
The 2017-2018 Middle School PAC DIRECT DONATION DRIVE is here!
Based on the success of the Direct Donation last year, our goal is to fund the PAC budget with 100% family participation this year. We can promise you, you WILL NOT be solicited with catalogs.
Some PAC Humor:
This fundraiser is in lieu of sending students home with the task of selling door-to-door, collecting money, and delivering goods.
Please help us avoid that by supporting our PAC with your donation, and helping us achieve our goals to support our students and faculty. Thank you in advance.
__$15 I do not want to bake, so her is the money I would of spent on those cupcakes. __$25 I do not want to hit up friends, family and co-workers, so here is the money I would of spent buying wrapping paper.
__$50 I do not want to walk, swim, or run in any activity that has the word “thon” in it. Here is the money I would have spent on my child’s “free” t-shirt.
__$75 I don’t want to attend any fancy balls, so here is the money I would of have spent on a new outfit.
__$100 I really wouldn’t have helped anyway, so here is $100 to forget my name.
$___ I am making this donation to express my appreciation for having nothing to buy, sell, or do except to go to https://wmspacdirectdonationdrive.mydagsite.com/ and donate!
The PAC wishes to spend approximately $100 per child per year. Please consider a donation of at least $25, $50, $75 or $100 (suggested amount) per student. By donating the most that you can, your children’s educational experience will be the best that it can be! With an increased budget, the PAC can supports many wonderful programs, events and initiatives.
In addition to the school’s Enrichment programs, the increased budget will also support programs such as the Guest speakers on Bullying and Substance Abuse issues, Teacher/Classroom Resources, Technology and Teacher “Wish List” items along with special events honoring our students and teachers. PAC also will fund the Kona Ice Trucks at Field Day and Photo Booth at semi-dance along with the Annual Holiday Treat-Fest for teachers and our Teacher Appreciation Luncheon. We hope you will realize the great benefit the PAC is for your child (children) and you will join PAC today!
If you would like to meet new parents and laugh and have fun, check out the WMS PAC website for a schedule of dates/times of our next PAC meeting. Hear first hand updates from Interim Principal Kevin Welch and meet our new Asst Principal, Dan Faircloth. We would love to see you there!!
THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING THE WMS PAC!
