Families in Wilmington Celebrate Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics

Wilmington, MA, April 11, 2017– The Wilmington Public Schools will be holding a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Fair at the Wilmington Middle School on April 27 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

There will be hands-on activities in earth, physical and life sciences as well as technology for students in grades K-8 in the WMS cafeteria. Community partners are also attending, such as: Pfizer, Analog, Wilmington Memorial Library, Boston Dynamic, 4F Science Pirate, Salem 5, Beyond Benign, Nick Toth, Judith and Chuck Kitchin, Janelle Vultaggio, Sergeant Fran Martino from WPD, and iRobot.

Wilmington District STEM Coordinator said: “Providing high-quality engaging, STEM instruction is central to our vision and mission in Wilmington Public Schools. STEM is key to achieving our vision and critical to meeting the needs of our students. We are so fortunate to have faculty and administrators who are leading the way in STEM.”
