Wilmington 7th grade Science students have been learning about how stormwater makes its way through the drainage system and the impact of pollutants introduced into the route. The WMS Science teachers and Public Works Stormwater Division created an artwork challenge that could be used to educate residents about stormwater and drainage. See the winning artwork and more information on the town website at https://www.wilmingtonma.gov/public-works/stormwater-management/pages/2020-wilmington-middle-school-stormwater-artwork.
